Good SEO Strategy & HTML structure is the foundation for building an SEO Compatible website. While designing a website for search engines, web designer and web developer should remember following SEO tips.

Here are highly effective strategies for designing a SEO compatible Website:

• It's good to have menu on top-level of the website instead of having left-hand side. If it is not possible, then you can place some rich text with keywords at the top or above the left-side menu so that the bots of the search engine will reach easily & quick.
• Every page should have its page title, description, & other Meta tags with usage of targeted & rich keywords. These tags have high priority in search engine ranking results. Meta tags optimization needs to be done with relevancy to page content.
• Try to avoid using flash file in the website until & unless it is necessary. Most bots of the search engine will not read this file as well as your page load very slowly. Try to make it external file for flash file. This will also helps you to reduce code.
• Bots of the Search engine not able read graphics, images. Make them relevant to your page content & use targeted & rich keywords in 'Alt' representation of images. This will help achieve top ranking in top search engines.
• Do not give link to important section of the site through images. However, it's good to link out to important sections on your website through text links.
• Do not place any content inside of a frame. Bots of the search engine refused to crawl this kind of link that lead into the frame.
• Do no use too many tables in the website. There are some search engines, which is not able to navigate other pages of the website if site menu bar is too complicated.
• Use external CSS & JS files to reduce page size & download page much faster. It will also help to spider of the search engine to cache page.
• Check & test your website according to w3c standard HTML.
